LIFE SKILL CAMP
INTRODUCTION
Young people today are facing a complex and rapidly changing society. There have been significant economic, social, political, and technological changes that impact the workplace. New comers who just joined the workforce will need to explore the influences of global trends, employment trends and issues, cultural diversity and demographic shifts on future work. They also need to have the awareness of the impact of economic change, new work patterns and organizational learning on the workplace. With this information, the employees are able to describe the changing workplace and its implications for career decision-making and lifelong learning.
The Life Skill Camp aim to provide students especially undergraduate’s student an opportunity to be well prepare before they enter the world of workplace. The important of young people to discovery themselves for the career development may helps them to suite the trend of the globalization.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- To help students discover themselves in order to bring out their very best in life.
- To motivate and guide them towards the real purpose of life generally and personally.
- To be able to apply the VPP method ( Vision, Passion and Professionalism) in their career path.
METHODOLOGY
During this 2-day workshop, the trainers will practice high learning technology, such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Accelerated Learning Techniques (ALT) and Whole-self Learning (WSL) to create a dynamic combination of Interactive & Creative Activities, Entertaining & Challenging Sensory Involvement, Participative Discussion and Practical Exercises in order to enhance effective optimum learning. Meanwhile, action and repetitive learning will be used to enlighten the students on creative methods and techniques for excellent performance.
